My client is a world-wide enterprise and a leading manufacturer situated in the East of Johannesburg, actively looking for a Data Analyst to join their diverse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging their programming skills to develop automated systems that help companies improve business operations. This concern has been in operation for well over five decades and thus functions under the strong belief of working hard and playing hard.

Duties:

Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
Undertake processing of structured and unstructured data
Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
Combine models through ensemble modelling
Present information using data visualization techniques

Qualifications:

A completed BSc in mathematics/Information systems/Statistics or similar field is essential

Experience:

A minimum of 2 – 4 years job experience in the data field is required
