The Data Steward, Scientist Analytics Translator work as part of BSO team to manage project priorities, deadlines, and data structure, data science business insight deliverables.
Interact directly with business customers, regional and global team and external consulting companies to gather and understand requirements, access available data, build relevant technical structures, find solutions to business problems and make them available in the optimal format.
Skills and Experience:
Requirements:
- Min 5-10 years of practical pharmaceutical data management experience, MBA / Bus Degree an advantage
- BSC or Masterâ??s Degree in Comp Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics
- Min 3 years hands on exp in the design and development of Tableau dashboardsÂ
- Familiarity with SCRUM or Agile software development methodologies as well as wide experience in developing customer-centric solutions Skilled in project management, strategic thinking, and leadership
- Knowledge and solving challenging technical problems (IQVIA, Medpages, Medikredit, Wholesaler Data, Health Windows)
- Programming exp in at least two of the following languages: R, Python, Scala, SQL
- Good knowledge of AWS with a specific focus on data-oriented services
- Knowledge of common data management platforms (Denodo and Collibra and Tableau). Firsthand exp in data modelling, wrangling and visualization
- Understanding of relational database technologies and querying tools
- Experience in designing and building the reporting data structures and data pipelines to populate these structures. (Processing / analysing large data sets and building integrations with various data sources)
- Experience with building visualizations independently, for a given data set, to drive analysis

Key Accountabilities:
Work as part of BSO team to manage project priorities, deadlines, and data structure, data science business insight deliverables.
Interact directly with business customers and external consulting companies to gather and understand requirements, access available data, build relevant technical structures, find solutions to business problems and make them available in the optimal format.
Help find the best dataset for specific business projects:
- Evaluate the limitations of existing data sources and provide recommendations to address unmet data needs. Identify mechanism to capture new data (e.g., CRM, sensors), clear organizational hurdles to gain access to data, forge partnerships with 3rd party data providers
- Perform data discoveries to understand data formats, source systems and engage with business partners in this discovery process.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams for the realisation of analytical and reporting demands
- Integrate, transform, validate and   reconcile large amounts of data.
- Manage exploratory data analysis, data cleaning and processing.
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and debug solutions.
- Design and Develop Dashboards and visualizations.
- Deploy dashboards across all environments in collaboration.
- Learn new technologies and their optimal application to our context
- Develop any data flow, data sources, purpose of reports and technical documentation needed to accurately represent design and code.
- Communicate concisely using the most appropriate approach for stakeholders.
