POSITION INFO:

Are you a data visionary with a passion for building high-performance systems? A company within the betting space is looking for a forward-thinking Data Warehouse Architect to design and implement scalable, cutting-edge data architectures that drive business growth. Your expertise in data warehousing, real-time streaming (Apache Kafka), and distributed computing will shape the future of our data infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure top-tier data integration, governance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design & implement scalable, high-performance data warehouses
• Develop long-term data management & integration strategies.
• Lead evaluations & recommend best-fit technologies for real-time & batch processing.
• Optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data pipelines, and distributed storage.
• Architect and maintain Kafka-based streaming platforms.
• Ensure compliance with data security & regulatory standards.
• Leverage distributed computing technologies to process and analyse large datasets efficiently.
• Present architectural strategies, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders
• Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies in data warehousing, big data, and streaming analytics

Qualifications and Experience:

• 8+ years in data architecture, warehousing, and engineering.
• 3-5 years working with Apache Kafka & real-time streaming.
• Strong experience with AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning & database optimization.
• Hands-on with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Presto.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
• Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
• Experience designing high-throughput, low-latency data architectures.
