JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading international mergers and acquisitions company is seeking an experienced Deal Team Analyst in KZN , Johannesburg or Cape Town to join their growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Team Analyst, you will play a key role in the project lifecyle.
In this client-facing position, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, contributing in terms of financial and valuation analysis, client liaison, project management and acquirer interaction.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate skills in multiple areas. You will need to possess strong team-working skills, but will also need to be accustomed to meeting deadlines and fast turnaround times. In addition, you will need to demonstrate versatility and adaptability in a dynamic workplace.

Financial and Valuation Experience

Responsibilities:

Preparing of and analysis of financial forecast
Due diligence process planning
Overview and control of virtual dataroom
Support and attending of meetings (internal and external)
Capturing of discussion points and co-ordination of collation of questions, answers and information
Assisting with creation of marketing documentation
Prospect Engagement
Sending of marketing documentation and follow up
Send project status reports establishing individual requirements whereby each client receives a bespoke service.
Establishing and maintaining client relationships through regular contact including face to face meetings, telephone and email communication
Assisting with driving of timelines and creation of ‘deal heat’

Profile:

Bcom (Finance / Economics / Business / Accounting) and CA(SA) / CFA candidate
Age: Between 25 – 30
Looking to grow in M & A, in time become a transaction manager
3+ Corporate Finance and/or private banking experience
