POSITION INFO:

Our organization is urgently looking to employ a Dealer – woth Forex / Derivatives, experience

The Dealer plays a key operational and risk-control role within an FSCA-regulated brokerage. The position involves executing and monitoring client trades, managing exposure, ensuring compliance with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) requirements, and maintaining the smooth operation of all dealing and trading systems.

This role requires expertise in MetaTrader 5 (MT5), including full understanding of bridge systems, liquidity feeds, and dealing procedures in a regulated environment

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Execution and Monitoring

• Execute and monitor all client trades and company hedging activity through MT5 and connected bridge systems (OneZero, PrimeXM, etc.).
• Oversee trade flow between the A-book and B-book, ensuring execution is aligned with company policy and FSCA standards.
• Monitor system performance, trade delays, and pricing integrity; escalate technical issues to IT immediately.

2. Exposure and Risk Management

• Monitor company exposure and Net Open Positions (NOP) in real time.
• Conduct hedging and rebalancing in accordance with internal risk limits and FSCA expectations.
• Generate daily dealing and exposure reports for management and compliance.
• Liaise with liquidity providers (LPs) to ensure execution quality and competitive pricing.

3. MT4 System Administration

• Administer and maintain the MT5 server, including user account management, group settings, and access control.
• Configure and monitor bridge connections and plugins.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with IT to ensure uptime and integrity of trading platforms.

4. Compliance and FSCA Regulatory Alignment

• Ensure dealing and trade management procedures fully comply with FSCA requirements and the FAIS Act.
• Support the Compliance Officer with reports, audit trails, and reconciliations.
• Uphold best execution standards and maintain full transparency in client trade handling.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining policies related to dealing, conflicts of interest, and execution quality.

5. Market Awareness

• Stay informed of global market developments, major events, and economic data releases.
• Adjust risk exposure and internal trading strategies accordingly.

6. Reporting and Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on exposure, P&L, client activity, and liquidity performance.
• Coordinate with Back Office, Compliance, and IT to ensure data consistency and timely reconciliations.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a dealing position within a Forex / CFD brokerage regulated by the FSCA or equivalent authority.
• Technical Expertise:
• Advanced working knowledge of MT5, including admin terminal, bridge connections, and risk plugins.
• Familiarity with MT5 and FIX protocol is advantageous.
• Market Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of FX, CFDs, indices, commodities, and derivative products.
• Strong grasp of A/B book models and exposure management.
• Compliance Knowledge:
• Working understanding of FAIS Act, General Code of Conduct, and FSCA fit and proper requirements.
• Skills:
• Analytical mindset and ability to operate under pressure.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• RE5 certification (or willingness to obtain) is an advantage.

Preferred

• Experience working in a Category I or II FSP environment.
• Exposure to automated trading, liquidity management, and risk dashboards.
• Previous experience interacting with FSCA inspections or compliance reviews.
