Dealer Development Manager - Earthmoving and Construction Machinery

Earthmoving/Construction Machinery sales and marketing professional with minimum 5 years’ industry experience, required to expand and develop the equipment sales channel throughout the African territory to maintain and improve the market share. Position based in Boksburg.

Minimum requirements:

• Tertiary Sales and Marketing qualification (NQF7) required
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant sales and marketing experience within the earthmoving/construction machinery industry essential
• Proven record of establishing and enhancing sales channels throughout Africa required
• Valid passport required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clear criminal and credit record essential

Responsibilities:

• Expand and develop a sustainable and successful equipment sales channel throughout Africa region
• Dealer Development
• Marketing – new business development, assist with product development, etc
• Costing and Pricing
• Equipment stock – analyse regional situation and meet market demands, manage stock, manage routine maintenance, manage and update dealer stock agreements and manage stock levels at dealer level
• Special project management
• Finance and administration – budgets, forecasts, planning, business plans, production allocations
