Role Description:

• Contribute to the development of an overall business strategy and associated delivery plans and objectives related to all functions within a dealership environment.
• To ensure maximum profitability, business sustainability and operational efficiencies of the business through the sales of vehicles, associated products and aftersales.
• To guarantee optimum customer satisfaction, team motivation and efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10-15 years' experience in the motor industry at Dealership level of new and used vehicle sales management, aftersales business, F&I offerings and extensive financial experience.
• An in-depth knowledge working with OEM at a National Level.
• A broad understanding of the legislative framework relating to the motor industry.
• A good relationship and network of key stakeholders.
• Relevant National Diploma / Degree / Equivalent. A Business Management qualification such as an MBA or similar will be an added advantage.
• A good working knowledge of FICA, FAIS & CPA.
• Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office; Internet and email).
• Good system knowledge of Evolve, IAL or similar Dealer Management systems.
• Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
• Based on the company risk assessment, this role is vaccine mandatory.
• It is expected that the candidate has a clear record based on the various verification checks.

• Achieve and exceed National targets with respect to vehicle, parts, service and all related performance parameters.
• Produce, analyse, and interpret management reports with respect to trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Apply knowledge of products, techniques and related processes to manage and track teams’ outputs aligned with key performance indicators.
• Maintain correct inventory levels and related costs of vehicles and parts to achieve and exceed budget expectations.
• Manage and report on all aspects of business / company performance. Corporate Governance / Risk / Ethics and Compliance.
• Ensure self and business adherence to related legal compliance, e.g., FICA regulation, POPI Act and Consumer Protection Act (CPA), LRA, OSHA, EE, etc.

Financial Excellence

• Ensure the development and approval of a dealership budget which is aligned to shareholder expectations, OEM forecasts, financial institutions requirements, and market conditions by considering all business units/ functions needs and objectives within the company.
• Ensure that the business meets all financial objectives and outputs.
• Ensure that the business receives a clean audit report.
