Dealership Accountant

+/- R50 000 pm + Company Car, Medical Aid & Provident Fund

A reputable and highly successful Motor Dealership is seeking an experienced and figure orientated Accountant to join their ever-growing team. The perfect candidate for this position must hold at least 10 years’ experience in Dealership Accounting and must have managed a team of +/- 10 administrative staff within their department previously.

Key Performance areas

• Time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. 
• The ability to liaise with multiple people from inside and outside the business, have excellent communication skills and be able to address people at all levels of the business.
• Significant experience in Car Dealership Accountancy and a proven track record within the motor industry.
• An excellent understanding of using Accounting IT Packages such as Pinnacle, Kerridge or similar.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Matric Certificate.
• A valid driver’s License.
• An excellent track record
• A Degree or Diploma relevant to Accounting, Bookkeeping or Financial Management is essential.
• Must hold at least 10 years’ experience Accounting within the Motor Industry
• Automotive Software experience
• Financial Reporting

• Financial analysis and reporting
• Budgets
• Corporate governance, compliance, and audits
• Financial systems and databases
• Respond to account queries.
• Training and leadership of another financial employees on systems and processes
