SUMMARY:
A well-established Transport and Logistics company is seeking a Debtor / Accounts Administrator to manage the full debtors function by overseeing invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and account queries, while ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and efficient month-end processing.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or similar

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a debtors/accounts receivable role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Documents
Experience with Microsoft Great Plains (advantageous)
Solid understanding of debtors processes, invoicing, and reconciliations
Ability to manage large volumes of accounts and meet strict deadlines
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience & Skills:

Full-function debtors experience, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
Experience managing a large debtor book and corporate accounts
Handling debtor receipts, direct deposits, and account allocations
Experience with intercompany balancing (e.g. Botswana & Zimbabwe)
Interbranch journal processing
Month-end and year-end financial processing
Managing and resolving account queries
Proven ability to follow up on outstanding payments and reduce debtor days
