Debtors Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client a large company in the Corporate Fiels is looking for a Debtors Clerk:

Roles and responsibilities:

Skills and Experience required:

Must have basic credit control experience
A good work ethic
Analytical and problem solving skills
Good verbal, written and communication skills
Computer skills, Work & Excel
time management Skills
Able to work under pressure during month end
meet monthly deadlines

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Control debtors book of +/- 400 accounts
Post banking to debtors accounts
allocate payments to customer accounts
Sort out queries on remitances - if any
attend to email/telephone queries from clients
Control and reconcile cash sale accounte
Vetting and opening of new accounts
attend monthly debtors mettings
attend to General Office Admin

General:

proficiency in all microsoft products/ excel most important
must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
must be able to work within a TEAM. Be a Team Player
