JOB SUMMARY:
The main objective of this role will be to work within the administration/accounting and finance department, assisting in all aspects of debtor’s control.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity for a Debtors Clerk to join this Leader in distribution of cable and networking systems has become available at the Cape Town branch, based in Durbanville Hills.

Minimum requirements:

Matric/NQF4
Completed relevant finance/administrative/accounting qualification (advantageous)
Have excellent numerical, accuracy and attention to detail skills
Fully Computer Literate (MS Office Application)
Previous experience in working on accounting software application/s (advantageous)
Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Working Hours Mon – Thurs, 08h00 – 17h00 & Friday, 08h00 – 16h00
Must be available for stock take process once a month (during week after hours)
Own reliable transport/ transport arrangements

Key Performance Areas:

Processing of debtor’s invoices and credit notes
Filing Invoices with signed proof of delivery
Managing and following up on outstanding paperwork
Dealing with debtor’s account related enquiries
Sending monthly statements, invoices, and pod’s
Managing the customers open item history for any outstanding cash accounts, unallocated transactions on accounts and/or cents to be written off.
Daily processing and balancing of cashbook and manage petty cash box and receipts
Ensure all payments due from debtor’s accounts are collected on time and professionally
Age analysis to be updated daily

This employment opportunity will offer a Guaranteed Monthly Salary and after successful completion of the 3-month probation period the Company will then contribute towards Medical Aid and Provident Fund.
