R18 000 – R28 000 CTC per month

Overview
Extraordinary property and hospitality group requires an experienced Debtors Clerk to join their innovative, agile and enthusiastic team.

Minimum Requirements:
Accounting degree or diploma
2 or more years’ experience as a Debtors clerk/ Accounts Receivable Clerk/ Credit Controller
Previous experience within the property industry
Previous experience on MDA/MRI property management software
MS Office suite with strong Excel

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure invoices are processed and sent out to tenants across multiple buildings timeously each month
Ensure credit notes are processed after required approvals have been obtained
Ensure timeously & accurate processing of cashbook on a weekly basis
Ensure debtors are collected within in the required timeframes
Prepare for and attend debtors update meetings with the directors and ensure actions items from meetings are resolved
Ensure statements are sent out monthly after the billing file is complete (where appropriate)
Ensure accurate allocation of receipts to the right tenants each month on the operating system (MDA MRI) to the accounting system with the respective bookkeepers
Ensure lease renewals are handled and done timeously ahead of the time
Ensure reconciliations are performed monthly between cash receipts on MDA MRI to the accounting system with the respective bookkeepers
Resolve client queries timeously and in a professional, approachable manner
Implement new technologies/processes in order increase the efficiency of the role
