Debtors Manager

Job & Company Description:
A leader in the manufacturing industry boasting with a national footprint seeks an experienced Debtors Manager to join their finance team based in Durban South.

The Debtors Manager will determine existing and new customers’ creditworthiness. You will also analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a customer honoring their financial obligations and also ensure the efficient collection of monies owed to the Company and control of all Debtors Accounts.

The successful candidate will be an experienced debtors supervisor or manager with credit control experience with the retail chains. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.

Education:
Relevant tertiary qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:
10 to 11 years' experience in a debtors / accounts receivable role
5 to 6 years' experience in a management role
FMCG and rebates experience is a non-negotiable
Sage experience would be advantageous
Strong computer literacy
Attention to detail
Ability to successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously
Financial acumen
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
