SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for keeping accounts accurate and up to date?

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for a reliable Debtors and Creditors Clerk to support the finance team with day-to-day accounts receivable and payable functions.

This role is based in Roodepoort.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture financial data accurately on the accounting system
Invoice customers and ensure all invoices are sent out timeously
Process supplier invoices and ensure correct allocation
Perform regular debtor and creditor reconciliations
Send customer invoices and statements
Request and reconcile supplier statements
Resolve supplier queries and follow up on outstanding matters
Maintain organised and accurate financial records
Assist the finance team with general administrative duties where required

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance related.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a debtors and/or creditors role
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication skills for dealing with customers and suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems will be advantageous
