JOB SUMMARY:
Well-established Attorneys based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking to employ an experienced deceased estates administration clerk to join their organization. Suitable candidates must meet the following criteria:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Suitable qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Estates
  • Capable of drafting L&D’s
  • Recons
  • Consulting comfortably
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English
Duties and abilities to attend to in the deceased Estates Administration department are, but not limited to:
  • First consultations with new client matters
  • Possible takeover of existing matters
  • To complete reporting documents
  • To attend to advertisements
  • To correspond with institutions affiliated to matters
  • To correspond with the Master of the High Court/s
  • To attend the master’s office on request
  • To draft First and Final Liquidation and Distribution accounts
  • To draft Cash reconciliation statements
