Deployment (Project) Manager Solar

SUMMARY:
To manage a team of Quality Control & Safety Specialists, Drivers and Deployment Technicians to ensure the installation and commissioning of power systems and grids on budget and in line with schedule.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years’ work experience in a project management role with comparable responsibilities and relevant professional qualification
• Prior experience developing, growing and managing teams of up to 50 people.
• Resourceful, hardworking and above all a very strong commitment to honesty and integrity.
• Extremely well organized with a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of AC & DC electrical systems, especially relating to renewable energy
• Ability to follow and enforce complex standard operating procedures
• A passion for delivering energy services and desire to learn the various aspects of the business
• Fluent in English, Bemba and Nyanja both in written and oral communications.
• Intelligent and eager to learn.
• Zambian citizen or possessing valid Zambian work permit; experience working in Zambia is a must.
• Enthusiasm towards working in the field of renewable energy.
• Highly computer literate.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Candidates should possess a valid Driver''s License and have owned a vehicle for >2 years.
