Requirements

4-year Degree / NQF level 7 (IT and Computer Sciences)
Up to 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Keep track of new features in the software that is used and inform the relevant teams thereof
Manage version control per standard operating procedures to ensure operating systems and applications have the latest security fixes and enhancements in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Manage the configuration database
Quality assurance testing with the relevant teams
Build deployment schedules and timelines with the relevant teams
Continuous reporting on versions active in the client environment
Manage patch deployments in accordance with patching policies to ensure the environment is maintained with the latest security updates
Track deployment failures and work with teams to resolve them if it cannot be resolved from the deployment tooling
Manage operating system version control and deploy new versions with the relevant operations team
Manage image on SCCM and application standards in accordance with configuration database and Webber the Company's standard operating procedures
Manage testing of deployed applications and operating systems before deployment to production to ensure stability
Report to the relevant teams on application versions, operating system versions, and license utilization
