Depot Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a company specialising in the field of logistics is currently recruiting a Depot Manager that will be responsible for the management of the depot in the Eastern region of Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Essential: 2-3 years’ experience in an HR environment.
• Essential: 5 years’ experience in a managerial construction/logistics environment.
• Experience and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver’s license as it is required to travel.

Duties:

• Managing daily HR requirements.
• Manage employees by ensuring service and performance levels are maintained and met.
• Actively report, manage, and monitor daily depot activities in respect of identified and agreed KPI’s.
• Training, interacting, and communicating on standard measurements and compliance with personnel.
• Manage the depots operational functions, inspection, repair and receiving and washing of returnable packaging.
• Through analysis by conceptualisation, redesign and implementation of improved business processes improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Additional Information

• Must be willing to work overtime.
