POSITION INFO:
They are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Design Engineer to join their Power Distribution Systems team. In this role, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical distribution systems for a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential developments. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, gaining valuable experience and mentorship in power systems engineering. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and drafting of power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, and cabling Support the development of single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and detailed electrical schematics Perform calculations and simulations to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil and mechanical engineers, to ensure integrated project solutions Review and interpret technical specifications, codes, and standards related to power distribution systems Assist in preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Participate in field visits and inspections to verify system designs and support the installation process Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts during the commissioning phase of projects Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Knowledge of electrical power systems, including distribution networks and components Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC) Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical engineering tools Basic understanding of power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Apply now!
