JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric with relevant tertiary education
A basic understanding of SANS-347.
Advanced knowledge of AutoDesk Inventor.
Advanced knowledge of AutoDesk AutoCAD.
Two to five years’ proven experience in using these programmes.
Knowledge of piping pressure vessels & equipment will be an advantage.
A self-starting attitude, must be able to hit the ground running and work independently.
Computer Literate, must be proficient in Excel.
Technical background to solve customer challenges and find solutions.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Self-motivated.
A Customer-First attitude.

Job Functions:

Assisting sales with cost estimations
General arrangement drawings for Sales Engineer and Customer signoff.
Fabrications drawings of Package systems and Pressure Vessels
Detailed drawings for Buy Out items (laser cutting, machining, etc.)
Design Drawings for 3rd party Pr. Engineers to do Design Calculations and Verifications.
Engineering documents control
Updating registers
Filing of drawings, Bada Books, Welding & NDT documents, Design Calculations & Verifications,
Compiling of Data books
Regularly check in with Boilermaker to verify that products are being build according to the latest revision of the drawings.
Mentoring & supervising of Operations Department Office Administrator.
Do any other tasks requested by Direct Line Manager.
