SUMMARY:
Desk Based Account Manager- Howick

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a determined person to join their team in Howick.

Job functions:

Desk Based Sale

Independent Customer

Solicit new and top-up orders through existing customers
Source and solicit business with new customers
Generate and follow up on leads for your sales channels
Maintain a database of customers
Engage and excite customers according to their call and delivery frequency

Sales Coordination

Work with the commercial teams to get the orders delivered on time
Support the efficiency agenda of the operations teams
Be flexible and reliable with turn around times
Have a broad idea on the products and procedures

Database maintenance

Capture all enquiries for the database in the correct category
Perform database research where requested
All New business, existing business and enquiries must be captured

General assistance

Assist with sales administration tasks where required

Job Specifications:
Essential Qualifications/Experience/Ability/Skills:

Strong Communication ability (written and spoken)
Computer literacy in Pastel & Microsoft Office
Admin focused
Sales driven

Preferable Qualifications/Experience/Ability/Skills:

MS Outlook
Sales course
Telesales experience
Excel
Power Point
