Deputy Principal – Foundation Phase
Location: Johannesburg South

A leading independent school in Johannesburg South is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Deputy Principal – Foundation Phase.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• Proven leadership experience within the Foundation Phase of a school
• Strong track record of academic and operational leadership aligned with school budgets at this level
• IEB experience is essential
• SACE registration (compulsory)
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to lead and inspire both staff and learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and pastoral leadership within the Foundation Phase
• Oversee curriculum delivery, teaching standards and learner support
• Manage staff development, mentorship and performance within the phase
• Support the Principal in driving the school’s vision, values and operational objectives
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive and excellence-driven learning environment
