SUMMARY:
An international Mining Company has a vacancy for a DevOps Engineer for a Contract

The purpose of Global Information Management (IM) is to enable the delivery of business processes, communication, collaboration and knowledge management through the deployment, support and maintenance of enterprise IT/OT technology, infrastructure, applications and Mine Technical systems.

POSITION INFO:
Azure Data PaaS templating - Expert
Azure Devops automated Deployments(Yaml pipielines) - Expert
SDLC – Expert
Scripting skills using PowerShellm bash – Expert
Python skills - Basic
PaaS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services with deep klowledge in several of these services - Proficient
Good understanding of Networking and Security within Azure - Proficient
Experience in automating VMs(Linux and Windows), base scripting tools(Chef, Puppet or Ansible). - Expert
Confluance - Beginner

Formal qualifications:

An undergraduate qualification (Bachelor''s degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline and/or Technical competencies and certification with relevant years of experience in a similar role.

Creating automated Infrastructure and App deployments for supported Product using Azure DevOps.
Ensuring Data Analytics DevOps Gates, SDLC and Security Standards are met in Product delivery.
Ensure Infrastructure is built with best practice security
Develop reusable artifacts for IaC
Following Application Development Code management standards.
Creating, Updating and Maintaining Resource definitions in Git Repository.
Delivering automation scripts for Products.
Ensure that Performance and Reliability is tested as part of the DevOps process.
Help and Ensure Non Functional Requirements are defined and met, including performance and reliability.
Monitor practices'' adoption and quality against agreed KPIs
Work with Solution Architects to ensure Infrastructure meets Products needs.
