DevOps Engineer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Build, configure, and maintain Kubernetes environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructure. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform. Automate, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and\/or Azure environments. Manage containerized workloads and Helm deployments. Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions using Prometheus and Grafana. Support database infrastructure and performance optimization across various environments. Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI\/CD processes and software delivery. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement proactive solutions. Ensure cloud security, governance, and operational best practices are maintained. Drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and business value. Mentor and support junior DevOps engineers. Experience and Skills Required Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role within complex product environments. Strong Linux administration and engineering experience. Proven experience provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience building, administering, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters. Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices. Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies and Helm. Understanding of CI\/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices. Ability to read and understand application code, including Java or Node.js. Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, governance, and operational best practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Advantageous Experience Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification. GitLab CI\/CD. Experience within fintech or other regulated environments. Advanced database administration and performance tuning. Experience with PostgreSQL, Apache Pinot, or Cassandra. Change Data Capture (CDC) and data optimization strategies. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and related observability tools. Apply now!
