POSITION INFO:
DevOps Engineer required for a highly technical company in Edinburgh (mostly remote).
The company are a unique software company doing some really interesting stuff (think BlockChain, but you don''t need to have any experience in this area!).
You''ll be the main DevOps Engineer within the company - but be able to get involved in lots of different areas that you might be interested in, which is one of the benefits of a smaller company! You''ll have some strong experience behind you, and feel confident in the challenge and opportunity to lead the DevOps function, and influence and improve practices and processes. As a bonus, you''re also not siloed off on your own, you''ll be very integrated within the development team and able to collaborate.
This role will be very deployment focused, looking at improving and monitoring the CI/CD pipelines (configuring the build pipelines) as well as managing the infrastructure. It''s key that you will have experience with containerisation using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
You''ll have most of the following skills/experience:
**Implementing and monitoring CI/CD pipelines
**An ability to understand code - C#
**Bicep, YAML
**Azure experience ideally (but open to AWS or GCP)
**Containerisation - Docker, Kubernetes
**Automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, Chef, Ansible etc.
Their office is in the city centre of Edinburgh so easily accessible via public transport. However, they operate on a mostly remote model but would like folk in the office occasionally (they have folk that come from Aberdeen occasionally, and a couple of people based in London).
The salary on offer is up to £55,000 (but can be flexible, so if you are looking for more but this is of interest, please do apply!). The benefits package also includes a Cyclescheme and a Techscheme, as well as equity as an incentive.
