POSITION INFO:
Software Design Engineer/ Software developer

Johannesburg East

Design of Software on new electronic products or improve existing designs Products used in the Mining and Construction environment. Software developed through innovation and research. Must have passion for software design, architecture
Qualifications and Skills:

BSc or B.Eng. or post Grad
Experience in Software and software design environment
5 years’ experience and C++/QT experience.
Mobile Applications at commercial level, Android/ IOS required.
Web development experience with [Java Script, HTML5, PHP, CSS].
Experience with OpenGL, SQL,
Skilled in Linux and Windows

Responsibilities:

Creation of software for the Products that was designed
Design of Software on new electronic products or improve existing designs
Design and develop necessary firmware/software solutions for successful project completion.
Create system, test and technical specifications for new products.
Compile test reports on new products that have been tested.
Develop and write components and interfaces as required.
Keep abreast of global developments in the internet and software technology and to provide direction with regard to software developments.
Integrate the Software Development with the business strategy, customer requirements
Assist the installation and commissioning of new software into client sites and to interface and satisfy clients in this process.
Create system, test technical specifications for new products.
