  Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic and N3 Mechanical Engineering

  Experience:

  • 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience
  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership capabilities
  • Expertise in rebuilding engines

  Knowledge That Sets You Apart:

  • Transmissions (Automatic Manual)
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Forklift trucks
  • Maintenance of CAT engines
  • BELL and Komatsu Front-End Loaders upkeep
  • Lifting equipment proficiency
  • Hydraulics and air brakes
  • Maintenance of Hino Tipper trucks and Mercedes trucks
  • Familiarity with safety rules and standards for mobile equipment
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings

  Fleet Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure vehicles' functionality and unwavering reliability.

  Swift Response:

  • Promptly attend to notifications, minimizing downtime.
  • Sustain continuous productivity levels.

  Technical Problem-Solving:

  • Identify technical issues, swiftly ordering the right parts.
  • Minimize downtime through efficient problem resolution.

  Safety as a Priority:

  • Adhere to safety regulations, preventing injuries.
