A leading health and beauty company in Centurion is looking for a Digital Communications Officer to become part of their successful team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

A recognized, relevant tertiary qualification (Marketing, Communications or Media Studies).
Knowledge, understanding and experience of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest, as well as emerging platforms etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.

A thorough understanding of social media platform guidelines, policies.
SEO best practices.
Experience in digital tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer and Mailchimp.
An understanding of copyright infringement and consumer privacy on digital platforms.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MS Office.
Video editing skills, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro / iMovie and other.
Understanding of website backend (Wordpress and Elementer).
A minimum of two year’s working experience in digital communications.
Project management skills and the ability to drive deadlines.
Ability to adapt and change.
Time management and multitasking.
Ability to work in a stressful environment.
Effective communication skills.
Relations with key media representatives.
Excellent writing and visual communication skills.
