SUMMARY:

Client based in Durban is seeking a Digital HR Lead. Must have a Master’s degree +10 yrs experience in project management, organizational development, continuous improvement, and HR technology. The position will Lead the digital HR transformation with the aim to change and modernize the HR landscape and ways of working.



POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree or Master’s degree +10 yrs experience in project management, organizational development, continuous improvement, and HR technology.
  • Code 08 / EB license
  • Proven record and know-how of working with effective adoption and change management.
  • Track record as a strategic and creative problem solver who is adept at developing efficient systems, processes, and technology solutions to enhance organizational competitiveness.
  • Talent that enjoys thinking conceptually and analytically with a digital mindset, whilst excelling at executing key analysis and implementations as the interface between HR and IT.
  • Several years of practical project experience around digital transformation, continuous improvement and HR strategy, organization, and processes.
  • Solid understanding of what it takes to deliver strategic initiatives translating into bottom line results and a track record of guiding from evaluation all the way through deployment and adoption.
  • Excellent Leadership, Communication and Stakeholder Skills.
  • Experience facilitating groups to create work plans and reach alignment on decisions.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Highly collaborative and approachable team member with strong soft skill and ability to lead through influence.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • The main purpose of this position is to ensure to manage all projects related to the position and that all partners and stakeholders work together.
  • Overall, the position will develop the HR operations service capability to deliver a first-class employee experience which meets service requirements and the strategic needs of the HR model.
  • Lead the digital HR transformation with the aim to change and modernize the HR landscape and ways of working.
  • Design best-in-class digital HR operating models, governance frameworks and lean HR processes.
  • Be responsible for driving Digital HR development programs and projects within Digital HR and secure alignment and standardization together with key process owners.
  • Piloting conceptual design of HR and HR IT strategies.
  • Develop best practice expertise to ensure ongoing development of service delivery models and concepts.
  • Ensure a high quality of end-user experience by developing HR service access.
  • Supporting and implementing changes in the HR operations in the context of the organization, technology, processes, and personnel.
  • Linking efficiently the processes between business, strategy, and IT.
  • Problems of complexity encountered, requiring a systemic perspective (thinks across departmental boundaries, understands the interdependent functioning of the division and the knock-on effect of issues, internally and externally) with both medium-term and longer-term (1 to 3 year) impact.
