JOB SUMMARY:
Our retail client, based in Cape Town CBD, is seeking to employ a Digital Marketing Analyst to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Google Tag Manager: Tagging implementation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Google Analytics implementation using GA4
Build reporting views in Google Analytics and reporting dashboards in Google Data Studio using various data sources in order to support marketing decision making
Setup and analysis of A/B tests using Google Optimize
Run and analyse Technical SEO audits
Support the wider marketing team with digital analysis in their areas where required
Continuously evaluate new technologies

Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Business Management or Statistics
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing environment
Experience working with retail clients and ecommerce
Extensive experience in leveraging an array of web analytics and reporting platforms including Google Analytics, Search Console, Facebook Analytics, Google Data Studio
Experience working with digital marketing channels (SEO/SEM/Display/Social etc), tag management tools (Google Tag Manager) and data layer implementations
Proven expert knowledge in Google Analytics Reporting (Universal and 4), including attribution reporting and setting up advanced implementations of Google Analytics (including data layers and eCommerce)
Demonstrable experience with Google Optimize and/or other mainstream web Optimization and Personalization platforms
Ability to work across and within teams
Ability to influence and educate wider business stakeholders
Ownership driven, pro-active to self-learn and make progress.
Strong technical communicator - able to turn complex technical concepts into simple and easy to understand concepts for the wider business
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong ability to prioritize and manage own time as well as assisting teams where needed.

Advantageous

Experience building and optimising feeds
Knowledge of Analysis techniques for Big Data, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Google Cloud is a plus

Ability to utilise BigQuery as a data source
