The digital marketing analyst will plan, implement, and manage the gathering and reporting of data that informs decisions.

Duties:

Develop performance measurement and reporting framework for digital marketing campaigns and practices
Ensure that goal tracking is implemented to support the measurement framework, across platforms
Extract and prepare data
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends in complex data sets
Develop recommendations based on the data for changes to marketing tactics and strategies to improve performance
Draft insightful visualisations report that enables actionable recommendations and outputs
Liaise with key stakeholders in the analytics and marketing landscape and deal with enquiries
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition
Identify commercial opportunities and recommend innovative solutions
Build models and run simulations to inform and optimise marketing spend for ongoing and upcoming campaigns

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data analysis and/or related fields (stats, maths, computer science)

Experience:

3-5 years’ experience in the field of digital marketing analytics
Strong knowledge of tableau, Datorama, SAP, and SQL
Google marketing platform
Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of integrated messaging platforms Marketo, and Everlytic
Marketing automation systems and content management system
Skills & Competencies:

Database knowledge

MIS reporting
Database administration and reporting
