Digital and social media specialist

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:  A digital and Social Media Specialist

WHAT WILL YOU DO:  Assist the  company's Corporate Affairs team develop, analyse and measure the effectiveness of content for its digital channels and implementing communications campaigns that support our Purpose: 

• Supporting on the development of the company's digital channel strategy
• Supporting on the production of documentary-style films, infographics and other creative assets
• Taking responsibility for company's social media content calendar, drafting content and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders (regional communications teams, partners, membership organisations) on identifying opportunities to tell our story through engaging multi-media content.
• Working with the company's regional teams to develop a framework for sourcing employee-generated content from across our operations.
• Drafting copy for company's website, ensuring that company's stakeholders receive the most relevant information and support on developing the company’s campaigns in an engaging, innovative way.
• Supporting company's campaigns through targeted and always-on paid social media activity, working with our social media agency
• Reporting on the performance of content to internal stakeholders
• Developing a proactive community management approach and driving social engagement

WHAT DO YOU NEED: 

• 3-5 years in digital and social media communications, in-house or at an agency
• Sector-experience beneficial but not required
• Proven work experience as a social community manager (2+ years), and demonstrable SEO experience
• Experience in developing and running digital communications campaigns and producing different forms of content (audio-visual, blog posts, social media posts, Instagram story content, reels)
• Knowledge of social media business solutions and campaign managers
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and associated software beneficial
• Prior management of complex projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication – native-level English skills essential, other languages beneficial (esp. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian)
• Able to work well under tight deadlines, while maintaining an eye for detail
• Flexible, solutions focused and a willing to roll-up your sleeves and deliver
• Strategic thinking, strong project management and planning skills
• Ability to work across disciplines and functions
• Highly motivated and able to work independently, while being a strong team player
• Confident bringing new ideas
