SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Disbursement Processing Specialist role on a 12-month contract.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities:

Review registrations received and provided reports from SQL or Excel.
Identify potential exceptions.
Review adjustments in claims from institution.
Manage adjustment process.
Review payment projection file, confirm correct students are being disbursed and correct amounts are being disbursed.
Communicate exclusions with exclusion reason.
Recon of records paid.
Reporting of disbursements paid.

Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications:

NQF Level 7 in Information Systems/Commerce/ICT or related.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial systems in the education or finance sector.

Essential Skills required:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferable proficiency in SQL.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
