Dispatch Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced Dispatch Supervisor based in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and planning daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery, as well as managing dispatch systems and processes.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Logistics, or Inventory Management (advantageous)
• Valid Forklift License

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and supervise daily dispatch staff activities
• Assign and monitor tasks across shifts and evaluate team performance
• Ensure all dispatch operations are completed accurately and on time
• Oversee adherence to health, safety, and company regulations within the dispatch area
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments
• Inspect and ensure regular maintenance of dispatch and warehouse equipment
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping throughout the facility
