District HR Manager - Central Africa

The District HR Manager - Central Africa will be responsible for managing all human resources activities and to administer HR policies according to Group and Executive direction. Also responsible for the Coordination of all legal matters as well all company Insurance packages.

Description

The incumbent will be responsbile for the following:

1. Implement HR Process and Tools for timekeeping, payroll, recruitment, and administration across the District.
2. Personnel management, including but not exhaustively: wages, taxes on labor and Social Security, loans and advances, Overtimes, staff Insurance (health and accidents at work)
3. Ensure Fulfilment of all labour Obligations
4. Management of disciplinary proceedings
5. Management of industrial relations and the Trade Union Committee
6. Management of holidays and absences of staff
7. Comply with and enforce all Labour legislation
8. 8. Responsible for employee development processes
   9. Manage the implementation and follow-up of the Group's code of Ethics
   10. Preparing the HR Reports
   11. Management of the Human Resources Department and the relationship with the other areas of the company
   12. Other tasks as may be requested in the framework of the Human Resources at district level.

   Security:

   • Report all incidents and accidents to immediate management or N+2
   • Take care of my own health and safety during the execution of duties of work
   • Perform the work to the client's specific needs and observe the rules of the client (where applicable)
   • Participate in emergency training
   • Participate and contribute to the register of hazard and risk regarding your area of responsibility

   Environmental:

   • eliminate waste responsibly
   • report environmental incidents to management immediately or as soon as reasonably practical
   • use natural resources responsibly
   • Participate in all Emergency Drills
   • Perform the work to the client's specific needs and observe the rules of the client (where applicable)
   • Participate and contribute to the impact and appearance record when it comes to your area of responsibility
   • Ensuring compliance with the legal and moral obligations with regard to position for understanding & Implementing relevant sections of environmental requirements for Angola

Profile

The candidate profile for the District HR Manager - Central Africa role:

• Minimum Five years Experience in HR, University Degree in HR Management or Industrial Psychology preferential
• Knowledge of Microsoft office Tools
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Assertiveness
• Autonomy
• Practical knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply them to a variety of situations, using a pragmatic and common sense approach.
• Commercial acumen-have a good overall understanding of the company and uses this information to make decisions and provide support to managers in resources and succession planning.
• Focused on results-understand that it is important for employees, customers and management-is committed to achieving goals accordingly, production quality and organisation. Good knowledge of servers and networking is required.
