District Programme Lead - 2 month contract

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a District Programme Lead for a 2 month contract vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Professional Nurse Qualification with strong project management skills
• Current registration with SANC & NIMART qualified
• Must have done courses on AYFS and have a knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
• 4+ years in a supervisory management role & 3 years mentoring experience
• Driver’s license and QI/QA experience
• Must have good communication skills and be computer literate
• Successful candidate must be available to commence duties on 1 November 2021

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design strategies towards reduction of HIV incidence
• Increase use of counselling and testing services
• Provide oversight to Clinical Nurse mentors per district
• Conduct skills audit to DOH staff
• Support rollout of YFS training to DOH facilities
• Provide training to sex workers and support groups
• Implementation of baseline assessments
• Provide support to call centre telephonic queries
• Facilitate weekly quality / information meetings
• Assist Project Manager in writing narrative reports
• Stakeholder management and meeting attendance
• Facilitate and support YFS assessments (facility, district and province)

Salary:  R68 000.00 per month for the 2 month contract duration
