Qualifications and experience:
- CA (SA) or CIMA.
- A least 5 years’ experience leading the finance function in a medium to large sized businesses.
- Experience or knowledge/understanding of minority interests/shareholder agreements with the structuring and understanding of MOI's.
- Logistics and Supply Chain industry experience will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in support of the People Transport division’s operations in all territories.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for the division.
- Manage, control and maintain all costs in line with agreed upon financial budgets.
- Monitor compliance (standards, regulations, policies, processes and systems).
- Liaise with external and internal auditors in area of responsibility.
- Participate in the strategic planning process for the division.
- Facilitate Manage major financial decision making, including CAPEX applications to the Group.
- Report on the financial performance of the division to the COO, CFO and the Senior Leadership teams as required.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports for the division.
- Manage a team of finance professionals, including operational finance teams.
- Work with operations and other departments to develop and implement financial plans.
- Working with multiple JV's and shareholders with minority interests experience or knowledge/understanding of minority interests/shareholder agreements with the structuring and understanding of MOI's.
