Purpose:
The organization has a vacancy for a divisional communications practitioner. The incumbent will assist the divisional communication manager in communicating to internal and external audiences that are relevant to the division, in line with the organization communication strategy, to ensure consistency in organization messaging. The position is located in Pretoria

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Minimum qualification of Degree in Science Communication/Journalism/Public relations or relevant
qualification.
All international qualifications require an evaluation report / certificate issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Experience:

At least 3-5 years communication experience
A proven track record in the following:
Writing,Presentations,Public speaking,Stakeholder engagement at a strategic level,Project management,Electronic media and platforms
Some experience in science communication
Proven competence in reputation management
Media relations skills
Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced computer literacy
Creativity and innovation and Adaptability
Networking skills
