Job Profile & Description: Draughtsman & CNC Programmer Core Purpose: Support Client''s technical design, drawing progress, revision control, CNC programming, nesting, and manufacturable detail. Systems & Tools • SolidWorks - the drawing and design software used for all technical drawing work. • Deep Nest - the nesting software used for all cutting and material layouts. Primary Accountabilities • Drawing progress. • Design support. • Revision visibility. • CNC programming and optimisation. • Nesting and material optimisation. • Drawing log maintenance. Key Responsibilities • Produce and update drawings in SolidWorks required for scoping, quoting, production, and installation. • Maintain drawing revision visibility. • Support the Project Lead during scope and design development. • Support the Factory Manager where drawings become design drawings for the factory. • Prepare CNC programmes where required. • Prepare nests in Deep Nest for cutting and production. • Optimise CNC and nesting outputs for material use, practicality, and production efficiency. • Maintain drawing logs and status updates. • Ensure drawings are clear enough for client approval and factory execution.
