Drupal Developer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the telecommunications sector requires a Drupal Portal Developer on a 7-month contract. The portal developer typically develops web portal front-end applications (supplier portal, customer portal and so on) based on functional and technical specifications

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Web software development skills in HTML, CSS, Drupal, Node.JS
• Ability to work under time-pressure
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Liaise constantly with visual and CX designers
• Understanding of Agile concepts
• Familiar with testing and DevOps tools that could be used

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software according to Drupal & PHP best practice standards and methodologies.
• Design and build websites on the Drupal platform.
• Produce, modify and maintain the websites user interfaces.
• Ensure that the software is maintainable, scalable, secure and of a high quality.
• Solve difficult technical problems blocking project progress or work quality.
• Assist with estimations of work.
• Run product demonstrations of completed work to clients and other project stakeholders.
• Able to manage an end-to-end code release process.
• Able to work in a team.
• Responsible for helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme. Work closely with back-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation
• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing, and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
