E-Plan Designer

Our client, a well-established engineering and automation specialist, is seeking an E-Plan Designer to support the design and implementation of advanced automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics using E-Plan, assisting with control system concepts and hardware selection, preparing manufacturing and installation documentation, and providing technical support during project execution and commissioning phases. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a dynamic project-driven environment. Education: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 5 years' experience within automation and electrical design environments. Proficiency in E-Plan electrical design software. Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and electrical design principles. Knowledge of South African electrical standards, including SANS 10142, and international standards. Experience developing detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
