POSITION INFO:
The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer (ECI Engineer) for our client based in Lephalale in Limpopo for a Fixed Term Contract.

We require your completed BEng Electrical Engineering or B Tech Electrical Engineering.  

We require your minimum 5 to 10 years work experience in Electrical Control and Instrumentation systems within Mega Projects.

 

To test, repair, inspect and maintain metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, data logging and display equipment, communications and telemetry systems; and perform related work as required.

 

Qualification required:

• BEng Electrical Engineering
• B Tech Mechanical Engineering with Project Management Qualification

Skills and Experience:

Technical skills:

• Execute all Electrical, Control and Instrumentation aspects of Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning in a Multi-Project environment
• Provide technical support to Project Management and participate in project teams
• Assist in technical evaluations for discipline for projects in various developmental stages, by applying appropriate evaluation methods and project management principles
• Conduct investigations and make recommendations on appropriate Engineering techniques
• Conduct audits on installations, equipment and facilities
• Conduct project planning, coordination and implementation
• Conduct preventative maintenance and root cause problem solving
