EDUCATION MANAGER FINANCE

SUMMARY:

The group is in search of an Education Manager(not a Teacher) with a strong educational background, excellent technical knowledge, exceptional organisational skills, and a proactive approach. This role will lead and oversee the formulation, implementation, and assessment of educational programmes, curricula, and initiatives to meet the strategic aims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust leadership qualities, expertise in curriculum development, and a flair for enhancing educational standards and a clear understanding of career development within the Accounting industry.

POSITION INFO:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree in Education, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with educational programs (Not Shools)
• Deep understanding of the accounting and finance industry, including regulations and competencies required for accounting and taxation services.
• Deep understanding of the progression between career levels and the competencies required within the accounting and taxation industries.

• Extensive experience in the development and execution of various educational, technical, and professional development initiatives within the accounting and taxation industries.
• Proven track record in curating and executing educational strategies, including curriculum, competency framework and logbook development, and instructional design.
• Demonstrated capability in overseeing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. Proficiency in using various educational technology and platforms.
• Experience in building and leading successful teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including liaising with regulators and external partners.

• Familiarity with accreditation processes for educational institutions and programs. Experience in managing or serving on technical committees and task forces.
• Demonstrable experience in policy formulation and advocacy.
• Proven experience in team leadership and performance management

• Educational Strategy: Execute and manage the educational strategy for our ACADEMY Academy, aligning with the organisation's mission, vision, and goals.
• Content Oversight: Supervise the creation, assessment, and accreditation of all educational content, spanning CPD courses, upskilling initiatives, licences, sponsor and executive training. Ensure content complhy with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to pinpoint and secure top-tier training providers and collaborators.

• Educational Program Management: Administer and review the delivery of all educational ventures, ensuring adherence to relevant rules and CPD requisites.
• Digital Learning Platform Evolution: Direct the ongoing enhancement and expansion of our ACADEMY Academy's online offerings, encompassing search utilities, resource hubs, expert consultations, and more.
• Team Leadership: Guide the Academy team, fostering their growth and ensuring their triumph through mentorship, support, and opportunities for professional advancement.
• Promotional Endeavours: Partner with marketing and communications units to amplify the Academy's services and boost member interaction.
• Industry Vigilance: Monitor sector trends, superior educational practices, and budding technologies to position the Academy as a vanguard of professional advancement for finance experts.
• Budgetary Oversight: Design and administer the Academy's financial blueprint, endorsing the effective allotment of assets in line with institutional objectives.
• Industry Representation: Act as the face of the Academy at sector events, seminars, and assemblies, cultivating relationships and bolstering its esteem.
• Resource Allocation & Team Building: While A mentions team leadership, it does not cover the building and leading of high-performing technical and educational teams explicitly.
• Curriculums and Logbooks: Development and update of curriculums and logbooks and ensuring alignment with competency frameworks.
• Career Development Modules: Developing career progression of designations and implementing modules for career progression.
• Learnerships: Developing, implementing, and managing learnership programs..
• Accreditation: Manage the accreditation process.
• Educational Committee: Serving on the educational committee.
• Oversee the hosting and managing a technical support function and ensure member communication relating to of technical updates through newsletters, webinars, and other communication methods.
