SUMMARY:
Our Client an Investment Group based in Sandton have an opportunity for an accountable and experienced Finance Manager.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience, with 3 year’s senior accountant experience and financial manager experience.

• Preferably experience in a holding company or diverse group.

• BCom degree NQF 7, and CIMA or ACCA or SAIPA designation.

• Experience in fair value measurement advantageous.

Must be able to work in a highly pressurised environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of monthly financial reporting (journal processing, balance sheet recons, consolidation).

• Accounts payable cycle review and sign off (preparation where required).

• Preparation monthly cash flow forecasts.

• Preparation budgeting and forecasts.

• Acting as company secretary.

• Ensuring compliance of group.

• Preparing reporting packs.

• Management of external audit.

• Annual AFS preparation.

• Tax Computation and submission.

• Monthly monitoring of investee performance.

• Valuation preparation/Inputs and review.

• Covenant monitoring/debts management.

Key skills and attributes:

• Excellent Microsoft office suite skills, with Excel being essential.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Deadline and detail orientated.

• Well-rounded team player.

• Individual with high integrity
