EE - Marketing Assistant – Durban

Marketing Assistant will support the SA Marketing Officer in the implementation and measurement of the company’s marketing plans. Ensuring that Marketing activities positively guide consumer perceptions of our product and brand image in order to build Brand and Sales Power.

The Marketing Assistant’s performance will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its business goals

Key responsibilities:

To drive Brand and Sales Power for the brand, the incumbent will be required to deliver on the below roles and responsibilities/tasks:

Strategic

• Assist in the development, implementation and review of product launches and communication strategies
• Coordinate the deployment of brand/product advertising campaigns (ATL, BTL and Digital)
• Implementation of tactical advertising and experiential activities (Events, CPDs, Sponsorships etc)
• Maintain key brand partnerships to support strategic marketing as and when required
• Work closely with relevant service providers to ensure delivery of timeous results

Administrative

• Assist in the documentation and creation of Management Information Reporting on financial and non-financial activities (budget, advertising, and media etc)

• Maintain digital filing systems for all marketing collateral for the Marketing Guard book
• Manage the system for documenting and tracking activities related to the inventory of marketing and communication material, and distribution thereof
• Maintain accurate marketing databases used in direct marketing campaigns and promotions as per POPIA in regard to the identified customer journey
• Assist in content procurement (photography, articles, write ups, usage permissions etc) for all platforms (web and social) where required
• Maintain a full Marketing Budget Management system with all controls and supply monthly feedback to the Manager – this includes raising Purchase Orders, managing collation of Cost Estimates, ensuring timeous payments, and administer the monthly budget master control documents

Salary: R20 - R25 pm
