ELECTRICIAN – ELCONOP 2
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Perform duties of an installation electrician
- Electrical tester for single-phase, an electrician/artisan or an Elconop 3
- Placing and drawing in of conductors into wireways
- Installing and connecting of lighting, cooker, water heater and low voltage systems including systemized and/or innovative wiring systems, the connection of distribution boards
- Installing of under floor heating systems
- jointing of cables using epoxy or other approved means, as well as the connection of such cables on installations where the supply has been switched off
- Simple arc gas welding
- Performing the work of an electrical assistant, general assistant or Elconop 1 - assisting a master installation electrician, installation electrician, electrical tester for single phase, an electrician/artisan and an Elconop
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified as an electrician
- 2-3 years working experience
SALARY: R72.77 PER HOUR -subject to change in accordance with the bargaining council
