My client has created a brand new role to fullfil a gap in the well established multinational company.

This role is focused on the GL Accounting and Financial reporting experience (more of a true accounting role).

This person will be working closely with managers and directors.
The  specific Client departments that the candidate will interact with is the:
Accounting

IDS

FP&A

Non negotable requirements:

- SAP Super User

- Strong ERP system management experience

- Strong understanding of using the  SAP system

- Bcom Accounting Degree

- Instrumental individual

- Must come from manufacturing sector

- General Accounting and Financial Reporting Experience

- SAP Implementation Experience

- Business Requirements gathering, understanding, and translating

- Must be able to work independently

- Excellent communication skills

- Influencing Customers and Users

- Need someone with who is specialized in ERP implementation

- Someone with accounting background is required

Summary of the job function:

- Implementation of the Financial model

- Manage the SAP ERP system and have a goo understanding

- Check the systems

- Work closely with the Finance department

- Must be the Go to person regarding the ERP system

- The individual needs to support the Accounting department on the ERP system

- SAP is the ERP system that is  supporting the General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.

- The candidate needs to update its downstream systems, deliverables, and business processes accordingly. Changes require updates to HFM, HFR Reports, and SmartView Spreadsheets.

- The candidate will act as a Functional Accounting SAP ERP Super User for the Accounting Team.

- The candiadte will work closely with the Financial Manager to develop accounting requirements, design and assist with system builds, testing, and deliverables implementation for the new ERP system. - - This individual will need to be strategic and forward thinking and understand the implications/impacts of an SAP Implementation on the Accounting Group.
