EXECUTIVE: MANAGED HEALTHCARE AND SERVICE PROVIDE - EE PREFERREDRS

SUMMARY:
The organisation is offering a qualified, innovative, ethical, dynamic and experienced individual the opportunity to apply for the above mentioned role. The appointee will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

POSITION INFO:

Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success with 8-10 years managerial/executive experience on a strategic level.

The role and responsibilities of the Executive: Managed Healthcare and Service Providers include the following:

 Implementation and supervision of MHC programmes

• Reporting on MHC and Medical Centres
• Actively participate and manage the 5 sections within Managed Healthcare
• Continued viability and growth of the Scheme with members who have desired health and demographic profiles
• Compile budgets for Managed Healthcare through consultation and negotiation with relevant parties
• Management of strategy to promote th organisation amongst providers, including registration, closing of contracts and setting up networks
• Provider Relationships
• Operations strategy developed, communicated and supported by operational initiatives
• Ensure targets of MHC and Medical Centres are achieved
• Initiatives and innovations
• Staff management initiatives

Educational Details

Qualifications:          

• A MBChB, M Med (Masters of Medicine) or PhD qualification, with a tertiary medical/health related degree, as a minimum requirement
• Professional registration with HPCSA required
• Additional Business Management qualification preferred

 Experience:              

• 8-10 years managerial/executive experience on a strategic level,
• 5 years’ experience in the managed healthcare industry.
