Optim-G is recruiting two experienced Eximbills Enterprise Developers to implement system-level remediations across the Eximbills platform at a Tier 1 South African Bank.
Both resources will work as part of a dedicated cross-functional delivery team focused on closing outstanding compliance findings in Cross Border Payments.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep, production-level Eximbills Enterprise experience. You will be responsible for configuring, developing, and enhancing the platform to address AML compliance gaps and deliver robust, regulator-validated outcomes.
What You Will DoAs an Eximbills Enterprise Developer, you will work closely with the Payments Analyst SME to translate requirements into accurate system changes, and with the Quality
Engineer to produce test evidence that meets regulatory standards.
- Implement Eximbills Enterprise configuration and development changes to remediate assigned findings
- Develop and enhance AML compliance controls, transaction monitoring rules, and processing logic
- Execute integration changes between Eximbills, SWIFT Alliance Gateway, and downstream systems
- Produce unit test evidence and technical documentation for each system change
- Participate in code and configuration reviews to maintain quality standards
- Support the Quality Engineer during functional and regression testing; resolve defects within SLAs
- Prepare deployment packages, runbooks, and rollback plans for each release window
- Provide post-deployment support during the stabilisation period
What We're Looking For- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Eximbills Enterprise development and configuration experience
- Experience with cross-border payment modules, AML control enhancements, and SWIFT gateway integration
- SQL proficiency for data analysis, transformation scripts, and validation queries
- Experience within a formal change management process (CAB approvals, release packaging, rollback)
- Ability to produce technical documentation and deployment runbooks to a professional standard
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Eximbills Enterprise certification or formal training – required
- SWIFT Alliance training – advantageous
Advantageous- Prior experience on an AMLoC or AML compliance remediation project
- Experience integrating Eximbills with RTGS connectors or core banking systems
- Exposure to cross-border payments AML screening and transaction monitoring configuration
