SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with proven experience in the mining sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems to support large-scale mining projects.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee electrical and instrumentation engineering activities within mining projects.
- Develop, review, and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors.
- Drive project execution, from concept through to commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
Requirements:- BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
- Professional Registration as a Pr Eng with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa).
- Strong background in mining industry projects, with hands-on experience in E&I systems.
- Excellent understanding of electrical design standards, instrumentation systems, and automation.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
